Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 9, 2026

QRtor is designed around a privacy-first static QR workflow. For the regular web generator, your QR code content is processed in your browser and is not stored by QRtor.

Static QR code generation

For static QR codes created in the QRtor web generator, the QR payload is built and rendered in your browser.

QRtor does not store the URL, text, Wi-Fi password, phone number, email, vCard data, location value, or social profile that you enter into the generator.

Analytics

QRtor may use analytics to understand aggregate product usage and improve the site.

Analytics events are limited to safe product metadata such as language, QR type, file format, validation error count, and whether a logo was used.

  • We do not send the QR content you enter.
  • We do not send Wi-Fi passwords, vCard details, phone numbers, emails, geolocation values, or user text.
  • We do not send generated QR images to analytics.

Feedback form

If you submit feedback, QRtor receives the information you provide in the feedback form, plus basic technical context such as the page URL and IP address needed to receive and handle the message.

Do not send sensitive QR content through the feedback form.

Service providers

QRtor may use infrastructure, email, analytics, and security providers to operate the website. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services.

Static, API, and dynamic QR codes

The privacy-first browser statement applies to static QR codes created with the regular web generator.

Future API or dynamic QR features may require server-side processing or storage because those features work differently. They must be described separately before launch.
